KATHMANDU, Aug 11: Members of the All Nepal National Free Students’ Union (Revolutionary) [ANNFSU-R] vandalized the offices of the Registrar and the Rector at Tribhuvan University (TU) on Monday.
According to a TU student leader, members of ANNFSU-R were staging a sit-in at the Vice-Chancellor’s office when they moved outside, began chanting slogans, and smashed glasses at the Registrar’s office. As they were heading toward the Rector’s office, a confrontation broke out with police.

During the vandalism, a clash erupted between the police and the students, leaving two students injured.
The injured have been taken to Kirtipur Hospital for treatment.
