KATHMANDU, Jan 7: Journalist and author Kamal Dev Bhattarai has released his new book Media and Democracy, now available at newsstands across Nepal. The book brings together Bhattarai’s sharpest media-related articles, previously published in newspapers, online platforms, and academic journals.
This is Bhattarai’s second book. His first, Transition (2015), explored Nepal’s post-conflict peace process and constitution-drafting journey, earning praise for its in-depth analysis of political negotiations during a critical stage of the country’s democratic transition.
