Mayor Shah holds meeting with Japanese envoy to Nepal

Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen) has had a courtesy meeting with the Ambassador of Japan to Nepal, Maeda Toru. The meeting took place on Wednesday in the Mayor's office.

KATHMANDU, May 1: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen) has had a courtesy meeting with the Ambassador of Japan to Nepal, Maeda Toru. The meeting took place on Wednesday in the Mayor's office.


During the meeting, discussions were held on mutual practices and learning related to urban development, construction, development management and service delivery. Mayor Shah emphasized the unique cultural identity of Kathmandu, highlighting its cultural heritage, tangible assets and the connection between social and cultural life through local cuisine.
