KATHMANDU, Jan 14: Police have arrested a man on the charge of asking Rs 90,000 from an individual who claimed to ‘settle’ a case being investigated by the police office.
A joint team of police from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division and the Thankot Metropolitan Police Circle arrested Chandra Lama, 39, a resident of Tistung Palung Municipality of Makwanpur, on the charge of asking Rs 90,000 from the individual, claiming to settle the case.

The case is being investigated by the Metropolitan Police Circle, Thankot.
The arrested man is in custody, and further investigation is underway, police said.
