Maiti Nepal provides zinc sheets to 230 quake-affected families

MELAMCHI, June 16: Maiti Nepal, an organization active against human trafficking, has distributed corrugated zinc sheets to quake survivors at Ichowk-8 in Sindhupalchowk district for temporary shelter.

Executive Director of the Maiti Nepal, Bishworam Khadka, said that the organization distributed zinc sheets to 230 quake-affected families of Ichowk-8.


The Maiti Nepal has already distributed zinc sheets to all Dalit families of Sikharpur of Melamchi Municipality-12, Ward No 6 and 7 of Mahankal VDC and Ward No. 1 of Keul VDC.

Youth leader of the Nepali Congress, Taranath Dahal, on Monday distributed the zinc sheets at Ichowk-8.
Khadka said the Maiti Nepal said that it is going to launch a new campaign soon targeting the youths and children of quake-hit areas. RSS
