The staffers have been staging protests for the a week now demanding pay and facilities on par with civil servants. The staffers at District Development Committee (DDC) spend their days playing volleyball.
The Bhimeshwar Municipality has also remained quiet for the past seven days. Works have also been stalled in most of the Village Development Committees in the district.
