According to the Parliament Secretariat, Landmark was selected through a tender process. Previously, Hyatt Hotel ran the canteen, but complaints about food quality from lawmakers prompted the Secretariat to choose a new provider.

The canteens in Singha Durbar and the Parliament building serve not only lawmakers and staff but also their personal secretaries, drivers, and security personnel. Meals are provided at the expense of the Parliamentary Secretariat during committee meetings and before office hours.
