"The illegal seizure of private and public properties and settling squatters in such land has not only challenged rule of law but also created conflict in society," the national human rights watchdog said in a statement.
The constitutional body also asked all concerned to refrain from such activities and asked the government to ensure the rights to lead a dignified life of the disadvantaged, downtrodden, landless and exploited people.
