“The Korean Film Festival takes place every year as a medium of cultural exchange where through the Korean films, we can convey the way of life of Korean people, which is similar to that of Nepalis in some aspects,” says Amrit Rai, Political Researcher at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Kathmandu.
“The National Day of Korea also falls during the festival on October 3,” informs Rai.
The festival features a wide genre of films from comedy to drama to action. These movies depict the various aspects of the everyday life of Korean people.
