According to Mayor Balen Shah's secretariat, a municipal team is gathering information on the damage to both public and private properties. The protesters damaged municipal property, littered the streets, destroyed traffic lights, vandalized fire trucks, and injured drivers, according to the collected details.
Sources from the KMC stated they are preparing to impose a fine of over Rs 1 million for the damages. Although the team planned to collect damage details on Friday night, continuous protests delayed their deployment until Saturday morning.
Meanwhile, the KMC reported that it had already cleaned up the garbage from the streets early on Saturday.
