KATHMANDU, Nov 17: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has issued 42,856 recommendations through its digital system in the last ten months.

Chief of the Information Technology Department of KMC Anirudra Nepal, a total of 20,398 applications were received for electronic recommendations in the current fiscal year. The system has the templates made available for 195 types of services.
KMC brought the system into implementation with an objective of revising 'Recommendation and Certification Management System' for better digital service.
"The full implementation of the online system resolves many problems of citizens", said Nepal, while adding citizens should not visit the office or stand in line to seek services.
