KATHMANDU, Aug 21: The government has appointed Chhabilal Rijal as the new Chief District Officer (CDO) of Kathmandu. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) made a decision on Wednesday.

As part of the reshuffle, the current CDO, Rishiram Tiwari, has been transferred to the MoHA, where he will assume responsibilities as a joint secretary.
