KATHMANDU, Dec 2: The government has called Chief District Officer of Udayapur, Chandraman Shrestha to the Ministry of Home Affairs after security negligence in the district. Pradip Raj Kandel succeeds Shrestha as the district's new CDO.
On November 29, seven persons, including Nepali Congress candidate to House of representatives from Udayapur-2, Narayan Bahadur Karki, were injured, when a bomb exploded at Danuwarbeshi of Udayapurgadi Rural Municipality, Udayapur.
