KATHMANDU, April 3: Chief Administrative Officer of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC), Saroj Guragain, entered the municipal office on Thursday despite attempts by city police to stop him at the gate.
Following his return to work, city police were deployed at the office. They attempted to stop him at the gate, but the employees did not allow the city police to prevent his entry and escorted him into the office.

However, he was not able to enter his office room as his room had been locked. During this incident, employees and elected representatives who had gathered to welcome Guragain broke the door of the office room and smashed the glass.
