KATHMANDU, Oct 24: The Karnali provincial government has decided to provide free treatment to symptomatic COVID-19 patients.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers of the province made a decision to this effect on Saturday.

Earlier, the central government had decided not to bear the costs of treatment of COVID-19 patients and PCR tests.
Despite the decision of the central government, most provincial governments have decided to provide free COVID-19 treatment to patients in their provinces.
