JUMLA, Aug 23: A jeep has met with an accident at Lorpa of Jumla Patarasi Rural Municipality on Wednesday.
The ill-fated jeep, with registration number Bhe 1 Cha 2141, has plunged 200 meters down into the Jawa rivulet while it was coming to Urthu Chautara form Dilli Chaur, said District Police Office, Jumla.

The details are yet to come as the water level in the river is increasing due to monsoon rains.
“It is difficult to get the details of the accident due to increasing water level of the river. Carrying passengers beyond vehicle’s capacity and muddy road could be causes behind the incident,” said Kafle.
According to DSP Guru Bishnu Kafle, a rescue team has been deployed to the incident site.
Accident site is two hours’ walk from the district headquarters Khalanga.
