Iran becomes first Asian team to win at World Cup since 2010

KATHMANDU, June 15:  Iran has become the first Asian team to win at the 2018 FIFA World Cup since Japan defeated Denmark 3-1 on June 24, 2010, with an own goal from Aziz Bouhaddouz in the fifth minute of the stoppage time.

KATHMANDU, June 15:  Iran has become the first Asian team to win at the 2018 FIFA World Cup since Japan defeated Denmark 3-1 on June 24, 2010, with an own goal from Aziz Bouhaddouz in the fifth minute of the stoppage time.



The power house of Asia - Iran in a tightly- contested first game of Group B has registered their first victory of the group against Morocco at the St. Petersburg Stadium in Saint Petersburg on Friday.
