KATHMANDU, May 19: Gujarat Titans secured their spot in the IPL 2025 playoffs by defeating Delhi Capitals by 10 wickets in Sunday's second match. Gujarat became the first team this season to reach the playoffs. Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings also qualified following Gujarat's victory.
At Arun Jaitley Stadium, Gujarat chased down the 200-run target without losing a wicket in 19 overs—the highest successful run chase without losing a wicket in IPL history. Sai Sudharsan scored an unbeaten 108 off 61 balls, while captain Shubman Gill remained unbeaten with 93 off 53 balls. Together, they put on a 205-run opening partnership in 114 balls.

Earlier, Delhi Capitals scored 199 runs for 3 wickets in 20 overs. KL Rahul played an unbeaten innings of 112 off 65 balls for Delhi.
