According to a highly-placed police source, Singh has been kept at the Gaushala Circle of the Metropolitan Police. “He was arrested after reaching the baggage room of the departure hall of TIA because a gun was found in his luggage. The Indian Embassy was informed immediately after his arrest,” the source said.

He was about to leave for India on an Air IndiGo aircraft. At that time, the security personnel found a gun during the routine check at the TIA. The police did not want to say anything about whether he had brought the gun with him earlier.
