KATHMANDU, April 14: Teachers across Nepal continued their street protest on Sunday, at Maitighar-Babarmahal demanding the immediate enactment of the School Education Act and the implementation of past agreements.
Since April 2, 2025, educators have gathered daily in the Maitighar–Babarmahal area in what they call a decisive phase of their movement.

Teachers are holding placards and chanting slogans, holding sit-ins under the sun, symbolizing their struggle. Unions have warned of intensified protests if their demands remain unaddressed.
