Speaking at a press meet in Kathmandu on Wednesday, the organizers said that the meet will bring together around 200 participants from different sectors including financial institutions, NGO, INGOs, corporate houses and government authorities, among others.
The theme of this year's meet is 'Managing Talent, Managing HR'.
According to the organizers, Naseer Khan, one of the most celebrated motivational speakers of India, who specializes on power selling, employee motivation, stress elimination, high performance leadership, among other issues, is one of the key speakers of the meet. Likewise, Shekhar Golchha, vice president of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and Sujaya Banerjee, Tedx Speaker and Chief Talent Officer of Indian multinational conglomerate Essar, are the other featured speakers of the meet.
“At a time when thousands of companies are being registered at Office of Company Registrar and Department of Industry, there is a growing urgency to strengthen our human resources to run new companies and prepare trained manpower,” Mohan Ojha, chairman of HR Meet Coordination Committee, said. “The meet will help to dwell on various issues of the human resource including capacity building of human managers.”

Similarly, he said that the Growth Sellers will felicitate an outstanding HR manager with the title 'BeeHRM HR Manager of the Year 2015' with a cash prize of Rs 50,000.
“The nomination for the award has already been opened. A five-member jury will select an outstanding manager based on 15 criteria including service duration, education and achievements, among others,” added Ojha.
