KATHMANDU, Dec 1: The meeting of the parliament has been obstructed on Tuesday as well after the lawmakers representing Madhes-based parties picketed the rostrum seeking the fulfillment of their demands.

Madhesi lawmakers started chanting slogans and picketed the rostrum as soon as Speaker Onsari Gharti announced the commencement of the today’s meet and allocated time to Nepali Congress lawmaker Farmullah Mansoor to address the House.
The picketing the rostrumby by Madhesi lawmakers is still underway. Madhesi parties have been obstructing the House proceedings for the last 15 days.Meanwhile, lawmaker affiliated to Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) have also chanted slogans after standing from their seats in the House protesting the India imposed blockade on Nepal.
