MALEKHU, Dhading, March 6: Home Minister Shakti Basnet has said no supply lifeline should be halted under any circumstances.

Inaugurating the second district convention of Revolutionary Journalists' Association Saturday, Minister Basnet admitted that the government was not able to do in that extent it was supposed to do for the people.

But, again he pledged his efforts to improve the supplies system with ensuring people's rights to employment, health and education facilities and food security.

Meanwhile, earlier today, the Home Minister inaugurated a new building of the police beat at Jambu Danda of Gokarneshwor Municipality-12 in Kathmandu.

The building constructed with the support from local people's participation was a good example of social transformation, he said on the occasion.

The four-room building was constructed with locals' voluntary labour. RSS
