The abducted one was Balkrishna Yadav, a technician at the Lahan-based Drinking Water and Sanitation Division. He is the permanent residence of Nagara Rigaul-4 in the district.[break]
He was abducted at about 8:30 pm while going home on a motorcycle Ba 1 Ba 2730 from Lahan, said the family sources.
The abductors, however, left the motorcycle in the field.
The police have guessed it was the abduction. However, who abducted Yadav and for which reason is yet to be known.
Police Inspector at the Ward Police Office Lahan, Briz Kishor Chaudhari said the search for Yadav was afoot.
