Gold, silver prices drop

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold fell by Rs 2,000 per tola to settle at Rs 265,700 per tola.

KATHMANDU, Jan 8: Prices of both gold and silver declined in the Nepali market on Thursday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of gold fell by Rs 2,000 per tola to settle at Rs 265,700 per tola.



On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 267,700 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver decreased by Rs 100, dropping to Rs 4,835 per tola from Rs 4,935 per tola a day earlier, FENEGOSIDA reported.


In the international market, gold was trading at USD 4,428 per ounce on Thursday.
