Gold and silver prices see sharp rise

KATHMANDU, Sept 21: On the first day of the week on Sunday, local markets saw a rise in the prices of gold and silver.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Business Association (NGSBA), the price of gold increased by Rs 1,100 per tola, reaching Rs 217,100. Previously, gold was trading at Rs 216,000 per tola. The NGSBA also reported that silver rose by Rs 40 per tola, reaching Rs 2,620.
