KATHMANDU, May 29: Golchha Organization has tied up with Habitat for Humanity Nepal for a social campaign -- Ashraya -- in an effort to build economical and efficient houses for earthquake victims.
According to the press statement issued by the company, altogether 1,000 houses will be built across Nepal for the victims.

"The contract for the campaign was signed between Almudena Bartayres, national director of Habitat for Humanity, Nepal, Rick Hathaway, area vice president of Asia-Pacific Office of Habitat for Humanity International, Shekhar Golchha on behalf of Hansraj Hulaschand & Co and Akash Golchha on behalf of GO Automobiles Pvt Ltd," the statement added.
GO Automobiles and Hansraj Hulaschand & Co have contributed Rs 12.80 million for the campaign. Company officials informed that Habitat for Humanity, Nepal is taking up a pilot project in Pipaltar VDC of Kavre district where they will be building 100 houses within 100 days in the first phase.
