KATHMANDU, Jan 5: CPN-UML leader Gokul Baskota has been unanimously recommended as the sole candidate from Kavrepalanchok Constituency-2.

Baskota was previously elected to the House of Representatives from the same constituency in the 2017 and 2022 elections.
With no other names recommended, his candidacy from the constituency is almost certain. However, the final decision rests with the party’s central leadership.
