According to the organizing committee, the inaugural session, originally scheduled for 1 PM, began later than planned. After the inauguration, a closed session is set to be held in the main hall of Bhrikuti Mandap, organizers said.
The two-day convention, organized by the rival faction within the party, began the first day with a registration process at eight designated stalls. Although registration was scheduled to start at 8 AM, it officially began at 9 AM.
