Gen Z activists welcome all-party meeting

They stressed that political parties should work to build mutual trust and cooperation, adopt zero tolerance for corruption, and practice inclusive, transparent, and accountable politics through self-reflection.

KATHMANDU, Oct 11: Amid the national crisis and political instability triggered by the Gen Z movement, an all-party meeting was held on Friday.



Following the meeting, Gen Z activists Tanuja Pandey and Rakshy Bam expressed hope that the country would move in a new direction and that the democratic governance system would be strengthened. They believe the essence of the Gen Z movement and the changes it brought can guide the country toward a new path.

Pandey viewed the all-party meeting positively, stating that elections are the only way to resolve the constitutional and political crisis. She urged political parties to embrace the spirit of the movement and participate in the elections with meaningful reforms.
