According to SSP Subodh Ghimire, Chari has only sustained a bullet injury on his hand during the incident though he was attacked with motive to kill. Police said that it has been searching the assailants. According to police, Chari was attacked while he was on his way to Kathmandu from Dhading. A group of people have also followed him on the way. Police have suspect that Chari might have been attacked by a gang of Radha Bhandari of Dhading .
