The incident occurred as the bus, Na 5 kha 2610, heading to Dhangadi plunged into a gorge from Shivraj Municipality-1 road section of the East-West Highway at around 4 am this morning.Police said that the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. Among the injured, 10 people are in critical condition and have been sent to Butwal for the treatment. Remaining 20 are undergoing treatment at Chandraut-based hospital.
Likewise, two people have been killed at Ghorahi of the district as two motorbikes collided head-on on Monday night.
According to District Police office, Purna Chandra Paudel of Ghorahi-11 and Bhupendra Puri of Ghorahi-5 died in the incident. Paudel and Puri who injured severly in the incident breathed their last during a treatment at Kohalpur hospital.
