Five injured in an accident in Rolpa

ROLPA, Aug 21: Five passengers have been injured in a jeep accident on Saturday night at Rolpa. The jeep (Lu 1 Cha 2737) en-route to Simalbang of the district met with an accident informed the District Police Office, Rolpa.



The wounded have been identified as, Prakash Gharti, 28 of Uwa-3, Jeevan Oli, 15 of Livang, Chavilal BK, 14 and Shankar BK, 17 of Livang and Dhanbahadur Buda, 34 of Rolpa. [break]



The jeep toppled 50 meters down from the road. Prakash Gharti and and Chavilal BK are said to be in critical condition.



All the injured has been undergoing treatment at the district hospital in Rolpa.



A police team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kedar Rajaure, Nepal Army, Red Cross and locals had rescued the victims.



Driver and the assistant driver of the jeep have not been hurt, informed DSP Rajaure.
