FEEN President Govinda Prasad Ghimire urged the government to expedite the construction of the international exhibition center to attract foreign buyers to Nepal. He also called on the government to declare 2026 to 2030 as "Export Years" to increase investment and boost tourism, emphasizing the need for stronger cooperation between the government and the private sector.
After receiving the suggestions, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli congratulated the federation's new leadership and assured that the government highly prioritizes economic growth, employment generation, and tourism promotion. He pledged to take steps to address the export entrepreneurs' genuine concerns.
Although acknowledging that the current situation limits the government's ability to provide large-scale incentives, Prime Minister Oli encouraged collective efforts to explore practical and feasible solutions.
