Ex-king Shah busy in puja

KATHMANDU, July 2: Former king Gyanendra Shah has performed puja at the Laxmi Narayan and Durga temples in Kapilvastu, on Monday. He interacted with locals after offering worship at the temples.



The ex-royal reached Bhairahawa Sunday after on a five-day tour of Rupandehi, Nawalparasi and Kapilvastu districts. This is Shah’s maiden trip out of the valley after the dissolution of Constituent Assembly (CA) on May 27. [break]



Earlier on Saturday, the former king’s personal secretary Sagar Timalsina and Armed Police Force’s deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Uddhav Rawat, who is responsible for Shah´s security, had reached the district to make necessary arrangements for his visit.
