KATHMANDU, Dec 5: The Election Commission (EC) has called on political parties interested in contesting under the Proportional Representation (PR) electoral system for the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) election to submit their applications within three days.
Issuing a notice on Friday, the EC invited parties to file applications from December 7 (10 AM) to December 10 (4 PM).

The EC has already established the Office of the Election Officer for the PR system.
According to the EC, the list of parties submitting applications will be published on December 10 between 10 AM and 4 PM. Parties that apply within the deadline will then be required to submit their closed list of PR candidates on December 28 and 29, from 10 AM to 4 PM.
