The Security Printing Center will print around 500 licenses per day initially. The new licenses will come in an updated format with a QR code, replacing the embedded chip used in previous versions, informed Gopal Raj Timilsina, Undersecretary at the Security Printing Center.

According to the DoTM, around 2.5 million licenses are still pending for printing. Of these, the Center aims to print and deliver 1.2 million licenses within the next six months.
