KATHMANDU, June 16: Dr Keshav Shrestha, the acting Medical Superintendent at Ramechhap Hospital, who went missing after posting a cryptic farewell message on Facebook, has been found safe.
According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Apil Raj Bohora at the District Police Range, Kathmandu, Shrestha was found in Balaju, Kathmandu.

Dr Shrestha posted a long status on Facebook before losing contact. He had also turned off his mobile phone. He had stated that he was transferred from Ramechhap District Hospital to Hetauda and claimed that false accusations were made against him. He was transferred from Ramechhap Hospital to the Bagmati Province Health Ministry in Hetauda by mid-July.
In his long Facebook post, Shrestha shared his struggles from becoming a doctor to facing resistance in hospital management, his efforts against corrupt practices, and the injustices he endured as a result. In the post, he also apologized to his mother, wife, and daughter. He apologized to his family for the hardship caused and expressed deep disappointment and feelings of defeat. He called for justice against those responsible.
