Dipak Shrestha wins Tata Nano

KATHMANDU, April 18: Dipak Shrestha, holder of receipt number 26370, has become the second lucky winner of Tata Nano car under ´Nagarik Bhagyamoney Ghar-dhani Yojana´ - a scheme launched by Nepal Republic Media (NRM), publisher of Republica English Daily and Nagarik Nepali Daily.



Pokhara resident Shrestha was declared winner through a lucky draw conducted by Raju Bhetwal, vice president-sales and marketing of Mahindra Two-wheelers, on Wednesday. [break]



Likewise, Biratnagar resident Ram Lal Nagarkoti, holder of receipt number 24540, has won Mahindra scooter under the scheme in which lucky winners get to win a Nano car and a scooter every month. Nagarkoti was declared winner through a lucky draw carried out by Jyoti Baniya, general secretary of Consumer Rights Protection Forum.







The lucky draw was conducted in the presence of Binod Raj Gyawali, NRM managing director, Shova Gyawali, NRM director, Narayan Wagle, editor-in-chief of Nagarik Daily and Ameet Dhakal, editor-in chief-of Republica Daily.



Nagarik subscribers participating in the scheme can also win two-bedroom apartment in Bagmati Apartment, New Baneshwor as bumper prize.
