The families were provided with food and non food items like blankets, mattresses, ropes, and tarpaulins for shelter. "We have also constructed over 100 latrines, fixed water systems damaged in the earthquake, distributed water and hygiene kits, " the statement added.
The organization has said that its next phase of work will begin soon.
"We have been able to do quite a lot in a very short time. All the work has been possible with the coordination with our ACT partners and other UN and government agencies," David Smith, Regional Representative of DanChurchAid said.
