KATHMANDU, Nov 9: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Sunday plunged 30.02 points to close at 2,566.09 points.
The secondary market opened at 2,596.12 points and went down gradually throughout the trading hours. The market reached its day’s low at 2,561.39 points in the last 33 minutes, while it recovered around five points in the remaining period before the market closed for the day.

All the 13 groups were the losers. Life insurance and non-life insurance shed 174.95 points and 146.36 points, respectively.
The sensitive index, which measures the performance of ‘A’ class companies, decreased 5.90 points. The daily turnover decreased to Rs 4.90 billion from Rs 5.41 billion.
Among the individual companies, 28 were gainers while 222 were recorded as losers. Union Hydropower Limited had the largest turnover of its shares worth Rs 277.67 million.
Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the topmost loser. Daramkhola Hydro Energy Limited had its market price increased by the highest of 9.99 percent.
