During the meeting, they discussed on new budget, formation of new government and whether to go for election or reinstate the Constituent Assembly.
On the occasion, President Koirala called for not to bring the budget without consensus and going for election by forming a consensus government under the leadership of NC immediately.
Talking to media persons after the meeting, Dahal said he told Koirala to agree on the budget to be brought by the government as there will be economic crisis in the country if the budget does not come at the earliest as well as to end the political stalemate by reinstating the CA for a short period.
The budget to be brought by the government has not come as consensus could not be forged among political parties.
Opposition parties including NC and CPN-UML demanded going for election and dissolution of the government for the same, whereas the UCPN-Maoist has stressed on reinstating the CA rather than election.
