KATHMANDU, April 8: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has asserted that the current government will continue until the next election. Speaking at the inauguration of the CPN-UML district convention in Siraha, he said that while the leadership of the government might change, the coalition government will not face any disruption until the elections.

Commenting on rumors suggesting the government would collapse soon, Oli said, "The government will not collapse or even face any disruption in the next 15 months. After that, I will hand over the leadership of the government to Deuba." He added, "There is no question of this government falling or even being disturbed."
