CHITWAN, Oct 9: A complaint has also been filed at the District Police Office (DPO) in Chitwan against Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra (Balen) Shah and Sudan Gurung, the founder of Hami Nepal.
Amit Acharya, Chitwan district coordinator of the CPN-UML-aligned student organization All Nepal National Free Students’ Union (ANNFSU), lodged the complaint. Although the police have received the complaint, it has yet to be officially registered, Acharya said.

ANNFSU has been filing complaints in various districts, accusing Shah and Gurung of inciting violence during the Gen Z protests nationwide. Acharya said the complaint was submitted along with supporting evidence, including videos, photos, and footage stored on a pen drive.
Chitwan DPO Chief SP Govinda Puri said that further action would be taken in accordance with directives from the central authorities.
