Complaints filed against former presidents Yadav and Bhandari

Safal lodged the complaint at the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), accusing the former presidents of misusing state resources.

KATHMANDU, March 20 : Complaints have been filed against two former presidents on charge of misusing state resources.


Yuvraj Safal filed the complaint against former presidents Ram Baran Yadav and Bidya Devi Bhandari on Thursday.

Safal lodged the complaint at the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), accusing the former presidents of misusing state resources.


According to the complaint, despite owning well-equipped private residences in Kathmandu, both Yadav and Bhandari have been living in rented houses at the state's expense. Safal claims that using public funds for accommodation while having private homes constitutes corruption.
