The UCPN-Maoist meeting held at Chairman Dahal´s residence at Lazimpat, today, has decided to appoint Tamuwan State Committee member Chudamani Khadka as Chairman Dahal´s personal secretary, said Hitman Pandey, Chief Secretary at the UCPN-Maoist party headquarters.[break]
Earlier to this, Samir Dahal was the personal secretary of UCPN-Maoist Chairman Dahal.
The party´s Seventh Extended Meeting held in June had decided to change Samir Dahal from Chairman Dahal´s secretariat. Today´s meeting of the UCPN-Maoist Central Office appointed Khadka by implementing the decision of the party´s extended meeting, said UCPN-Maoist Chief Secretary Pandey.
The meeting also held discussion on the contemporary political issues and decided to take initiative to form a national consensus government under Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai´s leadership, Pandey added.
