SINDHULI, June 16: A child died in Sindhuli after a lychee seed got stuck in his throat on Thursday.
Kriyan Tamang, 3, of Dhurabazar, Kamalamai Municipality-6, died after a lychee seed got stuck in his throat. He was rushed to Sindhuli Hospital for treatment that night.

According to the Deputy Superintendent of Police Chiranjeevi Dahal of the District Police Office, the information was received from the hospital that the child had choked to death as a lychee seed got stuck in his throat.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, the body of a child was found on the bank of the Sunkoshi River in Gajulidah, Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-2. Deputy Superintendent of Police Chiranjeevi Dahal informed Republica that the child's body was found on Thursday evening.
