SURKHET, June 26: The 'Chief Minister with the People' radio program has been launched in Karnali Province from Monday.
With the launching of this radio program, Chief Minister Mahendra Bahadur Shahi has reached out to 1.5 million people of the province through 42 FM radio stations on air in the province.

The Chief Minister with the People radio program has been started with the main objective of expediting the development and promoting good governance in the province with the Chief Minister directly taking the questions, complaints suggestions and concerns of the people, said Dhruba Budhathoki, the Chief Minister's press advisor.
Scores of people called in to the program on the first day of the programme's launching and asked the Chief Minister regarding the construction of the national power transmission line and roads, and until when the youth employment would be ensured in the province. They had put their questions through Facebook, Viber, SMS, Skype and telephone.
Chief Minister Shahi said the 'Chief Minister with the People' radio program would support in the formulation of the upcoming development plan of the Karnali Province and promoting good governance. RSS
