Inaugurating the Nepal National Marbadi Conference 2067 and 11th Annual General Assembly he said the economic agendas could not get priority at present as it was the period of political transition.
Around 2,200 representatives have been participating in the two-day conference jointly organized by Marbadi Sewa Samiti and Nepal National Marbadi Council.
"The government has been committed to provide professional security, the government is going to establish Industrial Security Force with a view to providing additional support to the industrial sectors," said PM Nepal.
"The government and the private sectors should work together to discourage the criminal groups to end the cases of abduction and donation terror," he said. He added that the security condition in various industrial cities including Kathmandu, Pokhara, Birgunj Biratnagar and Nepalgunj has been improving compared to the past days.
He said the industrialists should address the genuine demands of the workers, adding, he said the political parties, too, should not evoke the workers putting unnecessary demands and disturb the industrial activities. "The political parties and the private sector should work to encourage new investment and industrialize the nation," said Prime Minister Nepal.
During the function, he honored social worker Dil Shova Shrestha with Excellent Social Worker Award. The prize bags the purse of Rs 100,000.
