Chhibber, who is also a UNDP Assistant Administrator and Director of Regional Bureau of Asia and the Pacific, is scheduled to address the opening of the South Asia Conference on the Impact of the Global Financial Crisis to be organized in Kathmandu.
He is also inaugurating a UNDP supported 100-MW Bom Khola micro hydro power plant in the Everest region. The plant, which provides electricity to a total of 193 households, is the first and the largest system built and owned by the local community with the support of Rural Energy Development Program.
He is also scheduled to meet Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, Finance Minister Surendra Pandey, Vice Chairman of National Planning Commission Dr Jagadish Chandra Pokharel and members of donor community.

Buddha Air´s health camp
BIRATNAGAR, April 27: Buddha Air organized a health check-up camp at Dangihat of Morang on Saturday as a part of its corporate social responsibility.
More than 1,200 people attended the health camp, the airlines said in a press statement received on Tuesday. It also distributed medicines worth around Rs 500,000 to the needy people.
A team of 30 medical personnel, including 19 doctors, were actively involved in the camp, the statement added.
This is the first such camp organized in the eastern Nepal, the statement quoted Birendra Bahadur Basnet, managing director of the airline, as saying. Basnet expressed commitment to continue organizing such camps in future as well.
